Joseph W. Manning, III, 40, of Avondale, passed away while on a biking trip to St. George, Utah on Sunday, May 17, 2009.

He was a 1991 graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelors Degree and a 2000 graduate of Penn State University with a Masters Degree. He was employed by United Water of Delaware where he worked as a Water Quality Assurance Supervisor.

He is survived by: his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) Leo Manning; his children, Sydney Elizabeth and Josie Louise Manning. He is also survived by his parents, Harriett and Joseph Wall Manning, Jr. of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, a sister Leslie Marie Manning (husband Steven C. Mutterperl) of Freehold, New Jersey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends.
