MASS XC Race: Guy's Neshaminy Classic Mountain Bike, AMBC qualifier - June 23
AMBC races will serve as qualifiers for the US National Championships on July 18-21 at PA's Bear Creek Resort !

2012 is in the Books!

Last ‘cross post for the year, but expect early 2013 posts with GRC racers heading to Chicago, Madison, and Louisville in January.

Last race weekends were the MAC wrap up, MABRA, and NJ.

Solid rides during a very cross like day in Emmaus PA secured 4th in the MAC team series for Guy’s. Great effort in the MAC Series with 3 racers on series podium.

The next weekend Reynolds went to Maryland to show the MABRA crew how it’s done and ended 2012 with a win. Good luck to Scott at Nationals. Featherblog and ex-Prez went to De Koude Ras in NJ, which roughly translates as dopey course. Mark takes 2nd, ex-Prez has an early crash that did some damage, dnf. We appreciate all promoters, just not sure this park makes for a good course. Basically a two tiered course with the top being a series of 180 turns in a wicked fast descent, a few more 180s and then a 150m run up which was almost a crawl. Best part of the race was free soup and sandwich included in entry fee.

Glad to see so many people out this year! It was a fun season. WhirlyBird moves to a new location with solid reviews. Stoudt’s cross post race beer hall was a blast. Lots of great memories. Can’t wait for next year.
